Nowhere in the world can you find the biggest fish in the sea this close to a city as big as La Paz. Just a 10 minute boat ride from the Marina and you reach the whale shark observation area. Over the last few years tourism has increased and so have the visitors of the whale shark area. Luckily local regulations become stricter every year. We are convinced that swimming with an endangered species like the whale shark is a privilege and the smaller the group, the greater the enjoyment for our passengers and the smaller the impact on the animals. Every boat gets 2-3 hours in the whale shark area, no matter how many people are on board. Only one boat can be with each whale shark and only 5 people can be in the water with the shark This means, the smaller the group, the more quality time you get in the water.
