The archipelago of Espiritu Santo is a Natural Protected Area declared a World heritage Site by UNESCO in 1995.
This volcanic island is only inhabited by a few fishermen and is home to many endemic species, including birds, mammals, reptiles and plants. It is also home to the healthiest sea lion conlony in the sea of Cortez. This is an incredibly pristine place, with breathtaking views, beautiful beaches and astonishing wildlife. Here you can hike to hidden volcanic craters, swim with playful baby sea lions, dive with marine turtles, sunbath on white sandy beaches and relax in turquoise blue waters.

Suggested Itinerary
Meeting at Marina public pier at 7 am. 1,5 hours to 2 hours to the north of the island. We depart early in the morning so we can enjoy the sea lions before the big crowds arrive. Snorkeling at Los Islotes with the playful and curious California Sea lions (September to May) Lunch in one of the beautiful, secluded bays of the island. Option of hike on island or 2nd snorkeling. Drive back to La Paz (We always make sure there is enough time to look out for Dolphins, Birds, Turtles, Rays or other animals.) Arrival at la Paz at 4pm.
