SELKIE boat

Comfort and safety are our top priorities

SELKIE is our 21' special adapted dive boat with a 225 HP outboard engine. She is quite broad and offers enough space for 4 divers, the guide and the captain. On non-scuba diving trips she fits 6 guests. She is also perfect for a romantic day out as a couple, with comfortable seating in the bow. This is also our favorite spot to sit while watching dolphins riding the bow!

Safety

Our maritime safety certificate is always up to date and we count with an emergency engine.

Equipment

SELKIE counts with an extra fuel tank, a GPS, a Fishfinder, a stationary and a handheld VHS-Radio, and two anchors

Recycle

Reusable Waterbottles are on board. We reduce plastic to a minimum and have our own recycling collection station.

Oxygen and first aid

Our DAN Emergency Oxygen and First Aid Kit are always well maintained and on board

Permits

SELKIE has permits for the protected areas of BALANDRA bay and ESPIRITU SANTO ISLAND.

Our boat SELKIE operates from La Paz.From here we can visit Espiritu Santo Island, Cerralvo Island (Jaques Cousteau Island), and all of the bay of La Paz.

For whale shark trips and trips outside La Paz we work with trusted partners and their reliable vessels.
