Itinerary
Into the desert
Day 1
Arrival
Pick up at Loreto airport. Transfer into boutique Hotel "Posada de las Flores" or similar.

Day 2
Drive to San Ignacio
Drive along the coast and visit of the 18th century mining town Santa Rosalia. Arrival in the oasis town of San Ignacio. Night at the Oasis Springs bungalows or similar.

Day 4
Ride into the canyon
Drive into the San Francisco mountains. Arrival at the farm and packing of the mules. Ride down into the stunning canyon, with its spectacular views. Visit of the first cave paintings.
Setting up camp at the camp site and night in the tent or under the stars.

Day 4
The biggest caves
Today we ride down the colourful riverbed and visit the biggest cave "la Pintada" which has a huge display of ancient art, with many different styles and painted objects.

5. TAG
off the beaten track
The cave paintings we are searching today are more difficult to access and are therefore visited by very few tourists. This is one of the real off the beaten track travel spots! Night at the campsite.

Day 7
Ride back
Today we return to the farm and then to the town of San Ignacio. Night at the refreshing oasis.

Day 7
Return to Loreto
Return to Loreto. Transfer to airport or Night at boutique Hotel Posada de las Flores or similar.

Departure
Transfer to Loreto airport. Departure
